Qualifications

Nine scholarships will be awarded by the Ohio Association of Supervisors and Coordinators of Exceptional Students. Eight scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior who receives IEP services and is interested in pursuing further education. The application must be signed by an OASCES member. The other scholarship will be awarded to an OASCES member who is interested in pursuing post graduate work with an emphasis in special education.

Scholarship

The scholarships that will be awarded by the Association will be in the amount of $500 to be used towards tuition/college expenses.

Procedure

  1. Application must be turned in by February 18, 2010 to the Scholarship Committee:

  2. The application will be reviewed and voted on by the Scholarship Committee.
  3. The scholarships will be awarded at the Spring Conference(March 4 & 5 to be used towards tuition/college expenses. The funds will be distributed upon proof of bill from the educational institution. Proof of bill must be submitted by February 18, 2010 or monies will be forfeited.
